Dan Elzer
President
Formerly in Law Enforcement Dan left that career in 1987 to pursue a career in Real Estate and at the end of one year he successfully opened a start-up Real Estate Company. Using unique back office systems and dynamic training he built it into one of the top companies in Orlando, FL and sold it in 1998.
Since 1998, Dan has utilized his business development and training skills to open several successful businesses including Business Consulting Services, Real Estate Training and Consulting and New Home Construction.
Now with over 21 years of experience, Dan has trained and coached over 7, 000 agents and hundreds of real estate companies nationwide. Dan’s systems and strategies are well known for taking top achievers to levels they never thought possible. Dan uses his hands-on knowledge and experience to inspire and motivate as a Feature and Keynote speaker for large seminars and organizations.
Judy O’Brien-Burton
Director of Program Development
Judy began her real estate career in 1988 with Century 21. In 1989, she joined Jack Gaughen Realtor in Harrisburg, PA. During her sales career she was a Resale Agent, New Home Sales Associate and a Third Party Inventory Manager for Relocation.
In 1998, Judy became the Director of Training for Jack Gaughen Realtor providing support to the Agents and developing training programs for enhancing sales performance. Judy also planned and implemented annual Management Retreats and planned and implemented an annual Mini-Convention for the company.
Judy authored and administered the Jack Gaughen Realtor 12-week Mentor Program. This very successful program has been emulated in other large companies as a model program to ensure new sales associates get off to the best possible start.
Judy is a certified Instructor and has coached and trained hundreds of agents throughout the United States. She also spent four years as a Business Consultant for a large international Real Estate franchise.
In 2008 Judy joined the staff of The Training Academy as the Director of Program Development and Coach.
Dan Black
Senior Instructor/Coach
As an Honors Graduate of George Mason University, Dan started his career working in corporate America focusing on the Marketing and Technology Development Businesses for both Price Waterhouse and Bank of America. Dan became a licensed Real Estate Agent in 1997 and started his real estate career in 1998 as an agent with an independent firm.
In late 2000, Dan joined founder, Carl Fochler to become a partner, part owner and Broker-in-Charge of Panther Realty. Shortly thereafter the company joined the ERA system. Over the course of the next four years ERA Panther Realty grew from 6 to 45 agents in two offices.
A trainer of technology and applications at various times throughout his career Dan took the opportunity to become a nationally certified Trainer late 2003. Dan has trained and coached hundreds of agents in numerous states throughout the country. In early 2006 the partners of ERA Panther sold their interests to ERA Wilder and became part of the fourth largest ERA Internationally.
Dan currently is a licensed Broker in North and South Carolina. He lists and sells houses in the Charlotte Metro area and is consistently in the circle of top producing agents of the company.

David Brais
David identifies himself as a Workplace Learning and Performance specialist.
With over thirty years of REAL Real Estate involvement at every level, he is a seasoned training and sales professional with diverse and extensive experience in sales, technology utilization training and related classroom and online delivery systems. David is a talented presenter having delivered sessions at multiple State and National conferences including leading ‘train-the-trainer’ workshop sessions. He is highly skilled in the delivery of all required learning objectives and incorporating experiential learning through interactive workshops while maintaining a positive learning environment. Among his many career credentials he has several Coaching certifications.
As the VP and Director of Education of the largest NRT Metro region (New England), David was chosen to lead the delivery and implementation of several programs that later resulted in nationwide rollouts to all NRT metros. He was chosen to participate in the first group of 25 educators at NRT to deliver an effective coaching platform and subsequently certified over 120 Managers and Department Heads who then delivered the program to over 5,000 Sales Agents and 100’s of staff members.
Other achievements include:
· Oversaw annual budgets of $1.3 million and consistently performed within those guidelines while greatly expanding services and delivery.
· Introduced a revenue generating company-wide pre-license program, a world-class coaching program for Managers and supervised several significant upgrades to the performance of the classroom registration and tracking system.
· Lead the successful delivery of several corporate training initiatives in a timely manner and under significant time restraints.
· Introduced Project Management and course-development programs.
· Implemented feed-back loop to measure the effectiveness of delivered training and reported results to senior management.
· Initiated an agent tracking system to measure increases in productivity in relation to training received.
· Designed and delivered a New Manager Seminar series that was very well received by all participants and senior management.
· Published several articles in Banker & Tradesman
After the corporate experience David became the General Manager of ERA Realty Pros, a successful multiple office real estate company who’s Broker was rated as the number 1 all around selling Broker in the entire ERA system while David was there.
David attended five years of college, including State University of New York, Old Dominion University and Johnson & Wales University ’77. He was an Accounting Major, with a minor in Data Systems and Economics. He has attended multiple CRB training programs & Instructor Development Workshops as well as multiple CRS, management and training seminars. He is a member of ASTD, American Society for Training and Development.
David’s community involvement includes: Former Trustee & Finance Committee Co-chair, Wakefield Baptist Church, Wakefield, RI; Founding member, South Kingstown, RI, Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee; Founding board member and Vice-President of the John T. Croft Recovery House
David is a proud veteran who served in the United States Navy Submarine Service.
George O’Balle
Instructor/Coach
George started his real estate career in 1998 with an independent firm. He worked in a very committed and proactive direction which resulted in exceeding his goals every year achieving a multi-million dollar production level. George became the top producer in the firm and assumed a leadership position as Regional Manager.
George has coached and trained hundreds of real estate agents throughout the United States.
Along with being passionate about being an instructor and coach who strives to turn good agents into great agents, George is still a top producer and a dominant force in his market place.
